The inaugural winners of the “ASIAN BRANDS 60” project, organized by SIXTYPERCENT Inc. (Headquarters: Shibuya, Tokyo / CEO : Taiga Manabe), have been announced on the Top 60 key figures/brands who shape Asia Fashion Scene on the special awards website.

■ About ASIAN BRANDS 60

“ASIAN BRANDS 60” is a project that selects 60 key figures driving the Asian fashion scene and showcases their activities and achievements to the world. The selection process is conducted by members of a “Committee” gathered from various Asian countries, who evaluate candidates based on real market impact and accomplishments from a unique perspective. This project aims to elevate the global recognition of these influential figures in the Asian fashion scene and provide them with greater opportunities on the international stage.

The project also features 6 judges from various Asian countries as members of the “Committee.” These include VERBAL who is known as a member of TERIYAKI BOYZ® and serves as CEO of AMBUSH®, and Pint Anupong K who is the founder of Bangkok’s iconic fashion store “CARNIVAL”; and Jaeson Ma, who is co-founder of 88rising. These influential individuals, active across diverse fields from fashion to music, bring their expertise to this initiative.

■Purpose of ASIAN BRANDS 60

This project aims to spotlight the many creators and designers emerging from Asia while showcasing the commercial success of Asian brands. The selection criteria for the award include “ABSOLUTE,” “BUSINESS IMPACT,” and “LOCAL ORIENTED”—in other words, being unique and unparalleled, achieving commercial success beyond design excellence, and having significant recognition within their home country.

Additionally, a reception ceremony for “ASIAN BRANDS 60” will be held on Thursday, February 6, 2025, in Tokyo, exclusively for invited guests, to celebrate the announcement of the winners.
